Laser Etching
Laser etching offers a permanent solution for marking and identifying tools. Allowing tools to be individually numbered and/or linked to specific kits/draws/users. We offer a competitively priced laser engraving service which complements our insert and shadow board solutions very nicely. Etching is offered as part of a drawer insert package or as a standalone service.

There can be serious repercussions should tools be left in aircraft, trains or vehicles following initial manufacture or maintenance. These tools can cause thousands of pounds of damage and create serious safety issues.
Tools should be etched with a unique kit number as part of an integrated tool control system using either foam inserts or shadow-boards. This will ensure that any FOD (foreign object damage) caused by tools can be traced back to the tool owner.
The most cost-effective method to accomplish this is laser etching, each tool can be etched with a kit or unique number giving full traceability.
